The Andolite MR24 is a sophisticated DMX mains relay switching system available in 6, 12, or 24 channels. All models are encased in standard electrical cabinets with steel hinged, lockable doors, with glass doors available upon request. The 6 and 12 output models fit within a 500 x 400 x 150mm housing, while the 24 output channel model is housed in a 600 x 600 x 200mm enclosure.

A multitude of options allow for customization according to specific needs, including:

• Mains Supply: Single or three-phase
• Supply Input Switch: Isolator or RCD
• Output Protection: Single Pole MCB, Neutral Switching MCB, RCBO, with options from manufacturers like Techna or ABB
• Current Selection: Available in 6A, 10A, or 16A per output channel

Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDD) combined with RCBO can be supplied on special order, with pricing and manufacturing details open for discussion.

Connectivity options include:

• Two sets of 3-way screw terminals (hardwired DMX)
• Two RJ45 sockets
• 5-pin XLR connectors (1 male and 1 female)
• 3-pin XLR connectors (1 male and 1 female)

To prevent large surge currents when switching all circuits on simultaneously, each relay is designed with a 0.25-second delay during power-on. Each output can be individually controlled via standard DMX, with options for single pole MCB, neutral switching MCB, or RCBO.

DMX Address Setting

The unit offers two DMX operation modes, selectable via the DMX address dials. In standard DMX mode, each output operates independently, utilizing the full range of a DMX universe. In DMX sense mode, the unit waits for a valid DMX signal before sequencing the outputs on and will sequence them off if the DMX stream is lost after 10 minutes.
